History

First Baptist Carrollton has been celebrating Christmas ever since it was founded. In 1975, the church decided to present The Singing Christmas Tree to celebrate Christmas with the Carrollton community. The Tree was presented annually from 1975-2000, with the exception of 1981, when a new structure for the Tree was being built. Literally tens of thousands of people have attended the Singing Christmas Tree in Carrollton over the years. It has become a holiday tradition for many in the North Texas area.

This December, marks a special time in the history of the church. On December 16, First Baptist Carrollton will celebrate its Centennial. As we celebrate this 100th anniversary, we are hosting a variety of Christmas events to celebrate the Christmas season. We hope you will join us for these special events!
